Who publishes Agents·Index
The datasheet for every AI agent: specs, price, and whether it holds under load.

The short version
- Compare agents with sourced pricing, features and practical trade-offs.
- Research stays independent of payment. Read how we research and order listings.
- Entries are researched from primary sources and dated. Anything we cannot source, we leave out rather than guess.
- If we have something wrong, tell us and we will correct it and say that we did.
Who we are
Agents·Index is published and edited by The Agents Index Editorial, independently of the agents it covers. Correspondence reaches a person at hello@theagentsindex.com.
The Agents Index Editorial is accountable for what this index publishes, including corrections and delisting decisions.
What this index is for
The Agents Index helps you choose with the details that matter: what each agent costs, where it fits, what it does not do and the sources behind those findings.
Each listing includes strengths and limitations so you can judge the fit for your own needs.
How an entry gets here
We discover entries through research and public submissions. Both must meet our publication standards.
- We found it. Most entries are ones we went looking for. Because nobody asked us to write about them, we will not publish one sourced only to that company's own pages. Somebody independent has to have written about them too.
- Someone submitted it. Anyone can submit for review, free. We research the submission before deciding whether to publish and explain our decision.
Every entry must meet the same research and sourcing requirements before publication. Read the methodology andeditorial policy for our standards.
How this index is made
The Agents Index is researched and drafted by automated systems working against a published standard, with the standard itself, the quality gate and the editorial decisions owned by people.
Listings link to their sources and show when the facts were checked. Automated research can miss context or make mistakes. Confirmed errors are corrected, with material changes recorded publicly.
How we pay for it
The Agents Index earns from advertising, paid listing placement (Featured, which includes a place in the home page Featured band), Boost, email digest sponsorship and commissioned articles: Boost and Featured each pay for a followed link to the owner’s own site and one article about their product, which we research and write and label Sponsored, naming who paid and which tier. Commercial links are disclosed on the page where they appear. Our methodology explains how we keep research independent.
If you ever find a place where that is not obvious, tell us — we will fix it.
