Earn a do-follow link, free

Every agent on Agents·Index gets a link. By default it is nofollow: a directory that hands do-follow to everyone leaks equity and reads as a link farm. Put our badge on your homepage and we will make your link do-follow, at no cost, for as long as the badge is up.

The short version

  • It is free, and it is the same upgrade the paid one-time purchase buys.
  • The badge goes on your homepage. That is the only page we check.
  • We look once a day, we email you the first day it is missing, and the link only reverts after 3 misses in a row.

How it works

  1. Claim your agent

    Find your listing and claim it, so we know the site is yours. Your dashboard has your snippet once you do — not listed yet? Submit it, free.

  2. Put the badge on your homepage

    Your homepage is the only page we check. A sitewide footer is fine. What matters is that the badge renders on the front page, not only on a subpage. It has to be visible to a plain fetch: not behind a login, a paywall, or a script that only runs for real browsers.

  3. Press Verify

    We fetch your homepage, look for a link back to us, and flip your listing to do-follow immediately. No waiting on a human.

The honest terms

  • We check once a day, and we tell you the first day it is missing. The check is one page fetch, so there is no reason to run it slowly. If the badge is gone we email you that same day — nothing has happened yet at that point. Your do-follow is only revoked after the badge is missing on 3 checks in a row, and a single successful check resets the count. A redesign or a broken deploy costs you a warning email, not the link.
  • Homepage only. A link from your homepage is worth many times one from a page nobody reaches. If the badge is not on the front page, the check will not find it.
  • Put the badge back and press Verify. You get it straight back. There is no penalty and no cooling-off period.
  • The earned link is a true do-follow. You linked to us and we linked to you — a genuine editorial reciprocal, rel="noopener" and nothing else.
  • You can also just buy it ($29, one payment, permanent) and skip the badge entirely. The bought link is the same true do-follow the badge earns — identical markup, no sponsored marker, no expiry. The badge route is free and asks for a link back; the paid route is instant and needs nothing on your site. Pick whichever suits you.
  • We will not quietly downgrade you. Placement and link rel are separate here: paying for Featured or Premium changes where your agent appears, never whether your link is followed.
