Our verdict
Built to close cases rather than draft replies, Aissist.io decides by itself when to hand a case to a person and applies your refund limits, verification steps and tone on every conversation and channel.
It fits teams that want their helpdesk to stay the record of each conversation: Aissist.io works inside it and says it moves with you if you switch.
Its limits are narrow. You can’t bring your own model key or choose the model, its API only calls out to your systems, and it publishes no export path.
Best for support teams keeping their existing helpdesk: Aissist.io resolves cases inside the helpdesk you already use, which stays the record of each conversation and, Aissist says, moves with you if you switch, though you can’t bring your own model key, its API only calls out to your systems and it publishes no export path.

- Aissist.io picks the model and takes no customer key. Its API only calls out to your systems, and it publishes no export path.

What Aissist.io does
Aissist.io runs inside the helpdesk you already use, and the helpdesk stays the record of each conversation. Aissist says it moves with you if you switch helpdesks. It works each case through to the end, counts a resolution only when no human escalation happened, and decides by itself when to hand over to a person. Teams set it up themselves, and no implementation contract is required.
Specialized sub-agents each own a domain such as policy, product knowledge or escalation and work the same case on Aissist’s own Multi-Agent Platform. The platform is proprietary, and Aissist publishes no repository or license for it. Teams sign up and work in a hosted browser console, where the Pulse insight product shows dashboards and a question box.
You set the rules, such as refund limits, verification steps and tone, and Aissist enforces them on every conversation and channel. Audit logs record access and changes across the system and can be produced for a compliance review. Aissist holds ISO 27001 certification and publishes a data processing agreement for European data protection law. It calls itself System and Organization Controls (SOC) 2 aligned, with certification still in progress.
Its API documentation covers Aissist calling your own systems during a case. There is no API for driving the agent or pulling data out of it. Aissist runs the model behind it, so you can’t choose the model or bring your own key.
Pricing
- Price: $0.09 per interaction
- Free plan: yes
Aissist.io’s Growth plan costs $0.09 per AI interaction, capped at $0.60 per resolution, whichever is lower. It comes with unlimited tickets, the advanced engine, a Standard service level agreement (SLA) and no contract. Billing is metered on usage and charged after use, and cases handed over to a person are not charged. The Free plan covers up to 1,000 tickets a month with no credit card, on the free engine.
Enterprise adds a volume discount on a contract, a higher SLA and dedicated AI engineer support, and the vendor provides a master services agreement (MSA) and a data processing agreement (DPA). Aissist.io’s pricing page estimates about $0.25 per resolution for email, form and social media, at 2 interactions a session. For web chat, WhatsApp and text messages, at 5 interactions a session, the estimate reaches the cap. These are the vendor’s estimates rather than a quote.
Who it’s for
Support and sales teams at small and mid-sized businesses that want to keep their current helpdesk, since Aissist works inside it.
Who should look elsewhere: You need to bring your own model key, drive the agent or pull data from it through an API, or take your setup out through a published export path.
- If you need an AI agent that resolves support and sales conversations inside the helpdesk you already run: Aissist.io works inside the helpdesk you already run and completes cases end to end, counting a resolution only when no person stepped in.
- If you need to start free, with no credit card, before committing budget: Aissist.io’s standing free plan needs no credit card and runs on the free engine, a weaker one than the advanced engine.
- If you need usage-based billing with no contract instead of seat licenses: Aissist.io meters each AI interaction with a per-resolution cap, charges after usage, and its Growth plan carries no contract.
- If you need to bring your own model key or choose the model: look elsewhere. Aissist.io runs inference on its own models with no bring-your-own-key path, so the model mix is the vendor’s choice.
- If you need an API that lets your systems drive the agent or pull data from it: look elsewhere. Aissist.io’s API calls out to your systems, and it publishes no interface for your systems to drive the agent or pull data from it.
- If you need a published export path for your agent setup: look elsewhere. Aissist.io publishes no export path. The helpdesk stays the record of each conversation, and the vendor says Aissist moves with you if you switch.
